This model shows the lumbar portion of the spine and spinal cord, epidural cavity, nerve roots, plexus lumbalis, plexus sacralis, plexus coccygeus, and sympathetic trunk ganglia. Normal body halves of L1, L2 and L3 are removable to show common disorders of the spine: vertebral compression fracture, tumors, metastases, spondylosis and spondylarthrosis, slipped disc and spondylarthritic osteophytes.
